Changing the data server - settings that need to be made on the computers
If the data server is changed, the UNC paths must be adapted from the old server to the new one. Depending on the number of computers in the IT system, it can be time-consuming to do this manually for each computer.
For convenience, you can provide the following registry keys based on the computer HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE or the authenticated user HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
For the registration keys listed below, the part marked in blue should not be changed. The rest depends on the structure on your data server. This means that the folder structure corresponds to the part marked in blue on your server.

_XX or _XXXXX indicates the version of cadwork, e.g. _30 for the userprofil_30 folder or _2025 for the userprofil_2025 folder.

Printer settings
It is also possible to define the standard printers used by cadwork for a printer, plotter, text printer and a PDF driver.

Folder: Define 2D, 3D and variant catalog (2DV) as default
For both the 2D and 3D modules, it is possible to define the folders that should be opened when adding a catalog file (shortcut N ) and for variants (parametric catalog files, shortcut Shift+ N). In the event of a server change or a change to the folder structure, it is necessary to redefine these paths so that the correct folders are opened when using the shortcuts.
In these registration keys for the 3D module, there is a subfolder for the version number of cadwork. You must therefore duplicate the key to have the same number as versions on the computer.

The 2D module has no subfolders. The value $$$STANDARD means that the default path is used.
