Information request

Level of Information Need (LOIN) and its implementation in the different levels of detail (LOG/LOI) Level of Geometry (LOG) defines the geometric content of a model. Geometric accuracy increases as the project progresses. Level of Information (LOI) describes the level of information (alphanumeric) contained in a model. For this purpose, the attributes of the objects to be used are defined.

Level of Geomtry Level of Information

The LOG and LOI definitions must be performed individually and independently. It should be noted that the definition of LOD is not the sum of LOG and LOI, and therefore cannot be LOD = LOI + LOG. LOI and LOG definitions must be independent of each other, but must be defined according to the project objectives and the corresponding applications, or the information required for this purpose by the people concerned.
