Since Version 2025, cadwork has been using the BCF Manager from BIMcollab. An account with BIMcollab is required to use all BCF Manager functionalities. With this account, BCF files can be synchronized via the cloud and managed on the platform.
However, it is also possible to use the BCF exchange offline and exchange the file by email, for example.

Important:
The BIM Manager module must be part of your purchased cadwork software package in order to use the BCF Manager. Please contact your responsible support branch for more info.

Starting the BCF Manager

The BCF Manager can be accessed via Window  BCF Manager BIMcollab .

Note:
The first time you start it, you will be asked to log in. If a BIMcollab account is linked to the e-mail address entered, you can log in directly. If this is not the case, the registration process follows. Once completed, the BCF Manager window opens.
