6.5 Stairs

Stairs can be created manually or by using the Stair module via Add → Stairs. The elements belonging to the staircase are automatically combined as IfcStair during IFC export. The appropriate IfcType must be assigned to the elements making up the entire staircase, such as IfcPlate to treads and risers, IfcStairFlight to stringer, IfcRailing to handrail balustrade etc.
