2.3 Toolbar

The toolbar consists of various features, some of them are only visible if licensed.


Each function is explained in detail in a separate chapter. It is possible to see the name of each function in the program by holding the mouse over the icon (Bubble help / Mouseover).






Brief description:


Views: Views contain various possibilities to observe the element from different angles.

Clipping box: These functions can be used to make certain parts of an element visible and to hide others.

Outlines: The color of the outline of the element can be changed.

Triangulation (code 80): Field points can be triangulated (surface / volume).

Extrusion: Surfaces can be transformed into volume (surface + thickness).

Zoom: This key allows various zoom functions.

Delete elements : All active elements are deleted.

Copy, move, rotate: Elements can be copied, moved with options such as symmetry or rotation.

Join selection: Components can be joined or re-expanded.

Hide and show components: Active components can be hidden or viewed in isolation.

Cut: An active volume can be cut into another.

Cut / Slice: An active element can be cut by a surface.

Zero point: The zero point can be defined.

Search: Elements can be searched and activated.

Measure: Various measurement functions can be performed.

Rotate cursor: A new cursor orientation can be defined so that newly added elements are directly rotated correctly.

Animations can be created: It is possible to create animations for videos, for example.

Background: It is possible to add a background image.

Camera: The camera setting can be defined.

Rendering: Light and shadows can be activated.
