6.7.3 Modeling from PDF 2

Description

Step 1: PDF import
1. file → import → PDF


Step 2: Set up PDF
Add heights to IFC structure --> floor 1 = -3.21 --> mouse right click → new floor

Add PDF to the correct floor (modification window)
Trim PDF (if necessary) and move it to the right place(button 5)


Step 3: Create ceilings
Insert ceiling: Drag and drop - Catalog
Ceiling with slope:
Set "Horizontal" to "No" in the modification window --> Set inclination
If necessary, cut horizontally at the bottom(key C + D)


Step 4: Create walls
Predefine wall in the wall properties (left mouse click on the wall catalog icon)


- Top view
- Draw wall: Activate wall → left mouse click
- Stretch function: Key 7
- Shift functions: Key 5
- Copy functions: Key 6


Step 5: Create openings
Add opening: Drag and drop


Step 6: Create stairs
Draw surface( Fkey) --> Create extrusion
- Rotate function: Key 4 + H
